The normal collection day for our community is weekly on Monday.

Each home is responsible for contracting with Groot (847-734-6400) for garbage pickup and related services.

Collections do not take place on observed holidays:
New Year Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Christmas
 

• When the holiday falls on a weekday, service is delayed one day and similarly delayed for the remainder of the week

• When the holiday falls on a Sunday, there will be no collection on Monday and service is delayed one day for the entire week

• When the holiday falls on a Saturday, there is no change to the regular pickup day
