Streets & Parking
The streets within Regency are private. However there is an agreement with the South Barrington police therefore they are authorized to issue traffic violation tickets (e.g., illegal parking and speeding) in our community. All other police services are also provided.
Parking overnight on the streets is not permitted by the Village.
Parking (of one car) overnight on the driveway is permitted by our Declarations.
Gates
All of the gates are normally closed at all times.
The fob/transponder works best when located close to the Directory Panel.
Guests locate residents in the Directory Panel by last name. When the name is selected and the "Call" button is pressed the Resident's assigned phone will be called. Alternatively the Guest can just touch in the Resident's 3-digit number (indicated on the Directory Panel by the Resident's name). Then when the Resident presses "9" on the assigned phone, the gates will open.
If there is a power outage that affects the gates, they are battery powered to open and remain open until power is restored.
